Product engineering
& co-founder at Awa
Closing the distance between an idea, the people it serves, and the person able to build it.
About · Field note 00
I am Tiago—a product engineer and founder interested in the moment an idea stops being hypothetical and begins to stand on its own.
Notes on the maker
I'm obsessed with building. Not shipping — making something exist that didn't before. Understanding how things stand up, and then standing something new up myself. Lego, code, companies — the material changes, the compulsion doesn't.
The best things I've built started with someone saying "that's just how it works." Beautiful systems teach you how they work just by using them — that's the standard. If you have to explain it, you haven't finished building it.
I've done this at every scale — open source protocols, products at Teya, and now from scratch with Awa. The scale changes. The question stays the same: what can I make exist that doesn't yet?

Persistent curiosities
The archive begins before the plan does.
A new vocabulary for systems, trust, and coordination.
A different city; the same appetite for unfinished things.
The scale changes. The question stays the same: what can I make exist that doesn't yet?
